Text4Pets is operated by Rialitycheck PTY LTD (Australian Business Number 644 425 169) (“we”, “our”, or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Text4Pets mobile app, how we use it, and your choices. No account is required to use the app, and pet data stays on your device.
📋1. Information We Collect
Text4Pets is designed to work without an account. We collect the minimum amount of information needed to operate the app.
Information you provide
- Pet profiles — your pet’s name, species, personality traits, and optional photo. This is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.
- Chat messages — when you send a message, the text of that message (along with your pet’s personality profile) is sent to our server to generate a response. Messages are not stored after the response is returned.
Information collected automatically
- Device permissions — if you grant notification permissions, your device registers a push notification token with our notification provider. If you grant photo library access, your chosen image is stored locally only.
- Subscription status — if you purchase Text4Pets Pro, RevenueCat (our payment processor) manages your subscription and may collect a device identifier and purchase history. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy for details.
⚙️2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate AI responses — your chat messages and pet personality data are sent to an AI provider (OpenAI) solely to generate your pet’s reply. This data is not used to train models.
- To send random pet messages — if you enable notifications, we use your push token to deliver in-character messages from your pet throughout the day.
- To manage subscriptions — subscription purchases are handled by RevenueCat and your device’s app store (Google Play or Apple App Store).
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the app.
💾3. Data Storage & Retention
All pet profiles, chat history, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using standard mobile storage. We do not have a user database or store personal data on our servers.
Chat messages sent to our AI service are processed in real time and are not retained after the response is delivered.
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
🔗4. Third-Party Services
Text4Pets uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:
- OpenAI — powers AI chat responses. Messages are processed per OpenAI’s API data usage policies.
- RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions. Collects a device identifier and purchase records.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — processes payments for Pro subscriptions.
- Expo / push notification infrastructure — delivers optional push notifications to your device.
We do not sell your data to any third party.
👧5. Children’s Privacy
Text4Pets is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
✅6. Your Rights
Because we do not maintain a user database, most of your data lives only on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the app.
For any data held by third-party services (RevenueCat, OpenAI), you may exercise your rights directly with those providers or by contacting us and we will assist where possible.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
